Sine Qua Non

“Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within.”

- James Arthur Baldwin

Sine Qua Non.

For that which we cannot live without.

What can we not live without?

Is it hope? Love?

The general realization of our dreams?

Is it a person?

A whisper of a notion?

Is it a feeling or a time?

Sine qua non?

What we most deeply treasure reflects what sort of person we are deep inside.

Do not think guiltily of what we ought to value. Simply reflect on what you really do, right now.

And then see what sort of person you are.
Take your time- the deep things typically aren't on the surface.

Sine qua non?

I cannot live without Love.

I cannot live without Stephanie.

I cannot live without freedom.

I cannot live without God.

I cannot live without the ability to dream and create.

I cannot live without trying my best to realize my dreams.

It is who I am.
I will never apologize.
It is apart of growing up.
It is focused, and hard- like the tip of honed arrow.

I am not many things.
I am few, and I intend to make them count.
Because I cannot live without them.

SINE QUA NON.
