NEW YEAR COBBLER!!!

This is completely off topic but I really wanted to share an amazing recipe with everyone for the New Year!!  If you are having people over or simply want to be adventurous, I suggest you try this little concoction.  Its crazy how much I use pinterest these days to inspire creativity and I came upon this recipe.  If you are impatient or simply feel like you need to cook things that are easy enough you cant burn them or mess them up, like me, this is right up your alley.  Prepare yourself for the most AMAZING and EASY cobbler in the world.  IN fact, let's just call it New Year Cobbler!  Here we go:

NEW YEAR COBBLER!

(What you need)

1 or 2 packages of frozen berries depending on how big your baking dish is (I have used cherries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries so far, all worked well)

1 package of white cake mix (you can use vanilla if you want) Be sure to get the kinds WITHOUT pudding.

1 20oz sprite (Yes, the soda!)

(What to do)

Preheat oven ton 350 degrees

Dump your berries into the bottom of your baking dish and spread them out evenly on the bottom

pour the cake mix right out of the box on top of the berries and spread evenly also

pour Sprite on the top of your berry and cake layers, you may have a little sprite left over, that's okay.  Depending how big your pan is, you may or may not use the whole thing.  DO NOT MIX.  The Sprite will cook and create a crust for your cobbler.

Put into oven and bake 45-50 minutes.

THAT'S IT!!!!  Enjoy with Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
