Switchfoot is the band that lead me to God.
I had always seen God as a "Get Out of Free Card" made up so that the church can control us. Then I heard "On Fire" and realized that there is more to life than living in fear of a distant being that I wasn't even sure was real. The passion I felt in my soul listen to that song was my first connection to God. I had never felt His reality before."
